4. 1934 to 1938
Rev. Espada was assigned to the pastorate at the Methodist Church in Comerio, Puerto Rico. During this assignment Rev. Espada be came ill due to a heart condition and went to San Juan for treatment and recovery. 
 
During 1939 to 1941 apparently  Rev. Espada was serving as interim pastor in different churches in the San Juan metro area.


 

 

5. 1941 to 1945
Rev. Espada was the pastor at barrio Playa de Ponce United Methodist Church. This building was declared a historical site. See Link: copy and paste the link below.

6. 1948 
Papillo started the De Diego Ave. church in the carport of his residence; 405 Escocia st Caparra Heights. The carport was originaly on the right side of the house.
